Chang’s passion is to see people come to know Jesus Christ through teaching, shepherding, and discipleship.
He’s married to his wonderful wife Joanne with daughter Faith and son Caleb and has been living in the San Jose, CA, area for the past 23 years. Originally from Chicago, IL, Chang graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1995 and subsequently earned his Masters in Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1998. He wants EVERYBODY to know that he loves God, His people, and sports - in that specific order.

JOAQUIN CHAVEZ
YOUTH minister
Joaquin Chavez has been serving youth throughout the Bay Area for the last seven years, working with a multitude of cultures, all representing the Body of Christ. Born and raised in the Bay Area, he left home to serve in the U.S. Army. While serving, he was called to ministry and came back home. Since then, God has led him to work with youth, teaching them to discover God for themselves and what it means to be true disciples of Christ, and helping them develop Christ-like hearts.
His desire is to deepen the youth’s relationship with Christ and create a desire to see everyone saved.
