Let us acknowledge the limits of our physical bodies, just as Jesus did 2,000 years ago, and submit ourselves to the sovereign will of God the Father. This is the beauty of the mystery we hold—the unity of Christ’s full humanity and full divinity.

He sees the strain of disrupted rhythms. He knows the fears you carry—for your family, for our church, for our nation. He shared in our humanity, even to the point of facing the sting of death. And yet, in perfect obedience and love, He willingly endured the cross.

Come, let us remember. Let us worship. Let us draw near together.
